Jade and I were craving something sweet tonight, but we didn’t really have many ingredients, so we found this really simple recipe online that’s kinda like a churro!
All you need is:
-White Sugar
-Brown Sugar
-Cinnamon
-Butter
-Flour tortillas
Preheat the oven to 400F. Mix about 3 TBSP of white sugar, 2 TBSP brown sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. (You can do less or more of each ingredient depending on personal preference.) Melt around 6 TBSP of butter. Then cut the flour into small squares and dip into the butter like you would if you were making french toast and toss with the sugar mixture. Place on a pan and bake in the oven for around 6 minutes.
Voila! Churro substitute. :)
AHEM. I would like to take the time to say that sometimes boys suck and should be slapped across the face before being kicked in the groin with a stilleto heel, and then suffer in slow, slow agony…. And then have it happen all over again, because their memory just plain sucks and sometimes to get the point across you just have to repeat, repeat, repeat. I love you roomie.
